Place the emitter straw from the Gum Zapper directly over the gum to be removed.  Push the button attached to the aerosol can of Zapper Gum Spotter putting a small amount of solution directly on the gum.  Allow the chemical to remain on the gum for a few moments.

**If using the Mini-Zapper spray a small amount of Zapper Gum Spotter directly on the gum using the red emitter straw.  Allow the chemical to remain on the gum for a few moments.

Now pull the trigger and bounce the Zapper brush up and down on the gum.  Continue this process until the gum is liquefied and disappears.  Power extraction is necessary to remove the residue from carpet.  Gum can be removed from most hard surfaces in the same manner.  Use water and a clean cloth to remove any remaining residue.
